St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Will Matthews joined the Red V from the Gold Coast Titans ahead of the 2012 season.
The Kyogle junior made his debut for the Red-and-Whites in round 21 of last season’s campaign against the Melbourne Storm and ultimately made six first-grade appearances for the Dragons.
Matthews additionally made 14 reserve-grade appearances for the Illawarra Cutters in the NSW Cup.
He began his career with the Titans in round 18 of the 2008 campaign ironically against the Dragons and has made 39 first-grade NRL appearances as of the end of the 2012 season.
