Jack Bird is out for the hosts after suffering a head knock in the side's Round 6 win over the Wests Tigers shifting Lomax into the centres and club debutant Christian Tuipulotu onto the wing.

A former Junior Kiwi, Tuipulotu made his NRL debut for the Roosters in Round 14, 2020 before spending three seasons with the Sea Eagles.

He was rewarded with an international debut for Tonga in their mid-2022 clash against New Zealand and on Friday is set to become St George Illawarra Dragon #275.

Recent signing Fa'amanu Brown has been named on the extended bench alongside Michael Molo, Mathew Feagai, Toby Couchman and Viliami Fifita.
