Dragons announce NRLW Round 3 team list

St George Illawarra Dragons NRLW head coach Jamie Soward has announced his squad to face the Roosters at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Round 3.

Final team: The side remains 1-17 with Zali Hopkins (18) the replacement player.

It is just the one change from round two with hooker Sophie Clancy named for her NRLW debut off the interchange.

Kaarla Cowan will start at No.9 after a successful debut a week ago.

Clancy made the move down from the Knights over the offseason and has been rewarded with her debut jersey after impressing during the pre-season.

Hailing from Singleton, the 20-year-old grew up playing rugby union, Australian rules football and touch football and will become NRLW Dragon #78 when she runs out on Thursday night.

Jamilee Bright remains unavailable for the Red V as she continues to battle neck soreness.
