The St George Illawarra Dragons continued their 'Back 2 Juniors' campaign which saw players from the first-grade and NYC teams visit 12 Junior Clubs as a way to give back to the community on Tuesday.

The Dragons visited Junior Clubs across their extensive catchment areas of St George, Illawarra and the South Coast which saw 25 NRL players visiting 12 Clubs.

This included Australia international Josh Dugan visiting Penshurst RSL (St George),  NSW Country Origin duo Jack de Belin and Joel Thompson visiting Albion Park-Oak Flatts Eagles (Illawarra), and fellow NSW Country Origin hooker Mitch Rein visiting his junior club Kiama Knights (South Coast).

Furthermore, these NRL players were joined by extensive members of the NYC Under 20’s squad many of whom returning to their junior clubs.

These visits are part of an established initiative called the Dragons Back 2 Juniors Program which sees players visiting Junior Clubs throughout the Dragons catchment area simultaneously.

The Dragons have a total of 38 Junior Clubs within their catchment areas and plan to visit all the remaining Junior Clubs in a continued wave of visits.
