St George Illawarra Dragons duo Jake Marketo and Jack de Belin reflect on winning the Alex McKinnon Cup following the 30-18 win over the Newcastle Knights at Hunter Stadium, Newcastle on Saturday.

The Alex McKinnon Cup is an annual fixture played for on the first occasion the two sides meet in a season.

McKinnon made his NRL debut at the Dragons in 2011 and went on to play three first-grade games before joining the Knights in 2012, where he made a further 46 appearances.

Both Marketo and de Belin played alongside McKinnon at different stages of their careers and admit how important it is to honour the player.
