St George Illawarra Dragons hooker Mitch Rein is looking forward to donning the Iron Man jersey against the Newcastle Knights at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Sunday.
The NSW Country Origin representative believes his side is performing close to where they need to be but blames failure to capitalise as their downfall in the recent match against the Melbourne Storm.

Rein, 25, is keen on linking up with understudy Craig Garvey and praised the hooker for his versatility and speed.
“It was very disappointing to come away with a loss especially with the preparation during the week, we had one of the best training sessions that we’ve had this year,” said Rein.
“It’s just another one of those games where we’ve been in control in the first 20 minutes and the momentum changed and swung against us and we couldn’t get back.
“It’s always good to get back to Kogarah and to play at home against the Knights, we’re wearing the Iron Man jersey, it’s a good looking jersey and it’s going to be pretty special.

“We’re not too far off where we need to be, on the weekend we were in control and we’ve just got to really capitalise on those points in the game where we are in control, keep applying pressure and not let the change in momentum affect us.
“If we keep grinding away we will be fine so we just need to keep preparing this week and overcome those obstacles throughout the game.
“Craig Garvey offers a lot coming into the dummy-half, he’s got a lot of speed up around the ruck so he’s really looking forward to getting another opportunity.
“He played against the Cowboys a couple of weeks ago and went really well, he filled in in a few different positions, he played back-row and in the middle as well so he also offers that bit of versatility.
“Craig, Heath L’Estrange and I feed off each other at training and we’re always constantly talking and trying to improve our games and get the best out of each other as well so we can do the job on the weekend.”
