St George Illawarra Dragons captain Ben Creagh was awarded the NRL 'Player of the Year' Medal for his tireless work on the field this season.
The Dragons skipper played 22 games for the Red V and started the season off as a second-rower, before moving to the front row as a prop in Round 12 against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Creagh scored three tries, and made 18 tackle breaks, 14 offloads, and three line breaks.
He made a total of 2,368 metres from 268 runs, and 546 tackles with 29 missed.
On average, the captain made 12.2 runs a game and 107.6 metres a game.
