St George Illawarra Dragons utility Peter Mata’utia made nine first-grade appearances in his initial campaign wearing the Red V jersey.

The Samoa international made three outings on the flanks as a winger with the remaining six seeing him shift into the centre.

Scoring three tries, one on the wing and two at centre, Mata’utia also made three try assists.

Each of his try assists came as he was playing in the centres, as did all three of his line-break assists.

Mata’utia made an average of 10.8 runs a game, and ran an average 94.2 metres every time he took to the field.
