The St George Illawarra Dragons will all ‘Rise For Alex’ when they honour their former teammate against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Monday.

McKinnon made his first-grade debut for the Red V during the 2011 campaign after rising through the Club’s youth system and was later named in the National Youth Competition ‘Team of the Year’ later that season.

The general public are encouraged to donate to the Rise For Alex Fund which has been set-up to provide ongoing medical and financial support for the player.

Furthermore, the NRL will donate one dollar to the Rise For Alex Fund for each person who attends a fixture this round.

Head Coach Paul McGregor has named returning NSW Blues representative Josh Dugan in the centres but will be without the services of lock Trent Merrin who is sidelined with a shoulder injury sustained representing his state.

Merrin will be auctioning his 100th first-grade milestone game boots worn on ANZAC Day for the Rise For Alex Fund which will be open to the public to make bids via www.dragons.com.au on Friday.
