St George Illawarra Dragons winger Jason Nightingale is looking forward to returning to the wing after a spell at fullback last season.
The New Zealand international played several games in the custodian’s jersey in 2012 and is hoping that the experiencing from playing there will help him improve his game as a winger.

The Renown United junior has been enjoying a long and intense pre-season this summer dedicated to rebuilding the body in preparation for a hard campaign in 2013.
Nightingale is also in the running for a spot in the NRL All-Stars game that will be played on February 9; a game that he debuted in at the beginning of the 2012 season.
“I’m really looking forward to settling back onto the wing and being back in my favourite position,” said Nightingale.
“I’ll definitely be taking what I learnt forward, it gives you a different perspective when you spend as much time there as I did.
“This preseason has been something I haven’t been used to for a while, usually I’m coming back after Christmas but I’ve had to suck it up and spend a few extra weeks training hard.
“It’s been enjoyable though, being able to build my body up and have six weeks where you just dedicate your body to training and improve every little bit that you can.
“The All Stars game was an awesome experience last time, getting involved with the community and it’s a great week for Indigenous communities and the NRL.
“I really enjoyed that and it was great to be part of and it would be a privilege to play in it again.”
