ANZAC Day Ticketing & Event Information - Dragons v Roosters
Friday 13 April 2012 10:00 PM
The St George Illawarra Dragons will join together with the Rugby League community to honour our service men and women in the traditional ANZAC Day clash against the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium on April 25, 2012.
The annual tradition sees the teams joining their supporters in paying tribute to former and current Australian and New Zealand service men and women. Match day activities will honour the ANZAC spirit and remember all those who have served their nation. Featuring the Royal Australian Army Band, a moment’s silence, the ode reading, and the last post, the traditional ceremony is a truly touching tribute to our ANZACs.
The match-up is the most well-regarded tradition on the NRL Premiership calendar and is a special event for all rugby league fans. It was a year ago that the Dragons claimed the ANZAC Cup with a hard-fought 24-10 win in front of almost 35,000 fans. The team will take to the field this year seeking to take out the title for the fifth straight time.
Be there and experience the electric atmosphere as we honour the ANZACs in this epic encounter. It's more than a game, it's a tradition.
