As of March 2012, the Dragons website has had a slight makeover. Some features and layouts have changed, but you can still access all the content you enjoyed on our old site, and some brand new sections.
Below are some common questions, but if this page does not answer your question, please contact us via Twitter, the Dragons Facebook page, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why can I not access the Dragons Cheerleaders or Coaching Staff on the new site?
These profiles have had their formats changed, and are currently being uploaded to the new site. Stay tuned for them to appear under the 'TEAM' menu with new added features.
Why do the Player Profiles look different?
The format of player profiles has been changed to allow us to add video profiles. Just click on the play button under the player's image!
Why can't I find photo galleries?
The easiest way to find our photo galleries is to scroll down our page and click on the 'galleries' box on the right hand side. This will guide you through all the most recent galleries.
Why has the video player moved and where can I watch video?
The video player has moved so that we could include the easy 'match cube' in the top right hand corner, with all our upcoming features, scores, and videos of match highlights. You can still see all the video on our site by heading to the 'NEWS AND VIDEO' menu and selecting 'DRAGONS TV'.
Why do your videos not work on my computer?
The videos on our new site play on version three of the Telstra BigPond player. It is compatible with all the following browsers:
Firefox (Window and Mac)
Chrome (Windows and Mac)
Internet Explorer 7/8
Internet Explorer 9
To check that your software supports the video player, simply click through to an article with a video attached, and wait until the page has completely finished loading. If you see a blue 'PLAY' button, the video is compatible.
If you access the internet using a version of Internet Explorer that is older than version seven, you might only see a black box where videos should be.
You can update your version of Internet Explorer for free online by going to Microsoft's official site. Be sure to restart your computer afterwards.
I can watch videos, but they're fuzzy and unclear. How can I fix them?
There are three quality settings on the Telstra BigPond Player. To check if you are using the 'low' setting, click on the blue and white triangle button on the bottom right corner of the video player. This will ask you to select your quality. Changing your quality to Medium or High then hitting Submit will mean videos take a little longer to load, but play at a much higher quality.
