On Thursday, November 19, Dragons Prop Michael Weyman and Centre Nick Emmett had a rewarding afternoon at the North Wollongong PCYC for the launch of the league program for disabilities.
‘Disability League’ is an exciting new program offered by Disability Trust - Sport and Recreation at the North Wollongong PCYC once a week. The program enables people with a disability to learn modified rugby league and Dragon tag skills.
Fifteen participants took part in the activities sharing a laugh and having an exciting afternoon with Michael and Nick. It was also a great opportunity for both players and Dragons Community staff to see first hand how the staff engage participants and modify programs to suit their needs.
